I definitely think this is stimulating to many people's creative juices, and I'm very curious to know in detail how to came to this idea! Its more often that I see older techniques brought to newer subject matter, but not as often that I see newer techniques and concepts brought to an older subject. I find pieces like this have a tendency to look like they're ripping off the older piece, but I don't find that with yours at all! You brought something completely new to the table, and everything about it -- the technique, the subject matter, the futuristic vibes -- screams originality, and I absolutely love it. I also like how the entire piece is very high impact, you definitely used the option for high contrast in the metallic features to your advantage. The only thing I would suggest would be further deepening the shadows in some of the crooks and corners of the objects, just to draw more attention to the lighter face. But I totally adore this piece!! You did an excellent job!
